Woo Hoo!!
Well, sorry for the randomness of my post, but I just had to share this will yall.
I sent my zine, Just That Good, into Jessica of Arcade Distro for distro consideration and all. She e-mailed me two days ago and told me that she wasn’t going to be ordering any copies of my zine, but that she was submitting my zine to the Austin Zine Library. It made me incredibly happy to think that my zine would be sharing shelf-space with other great zine writers!!
So, again, sorry for the randomness, but I thought this was incredibly cool, and maybe any of yall in the area can go check out my zine sometime.

I’m not down there anymore but where is the Zine Library housed these days? And is it the same collection that used to be at that record shop on the Drag? (I can’t believe I’m drawing a blank on the name. It’s the one Ben Snakepit used to work at.)
I meant “that record shop” that [i:a4bfaddc02]used[/i:a4bfaddc02] to be on the Drag for many years. I think it’s a Mexican restaurant now, which is a real shame.

I beleive the Zine Library is housed at the Rhizome Collective in East Austin.

Well, I wouldn’t know where it is since I’ve never been to it, and the only time I’ve been to Austin was when I was really young. Two years old I believe.

The Austin Zine Library was housed at the Rhizome Collective in East Austin the last I checked. I believe they’ll be at STAPLE! this coming year.
The record shop mentioned in a previous post was Sound Exchange, wasn’t it? The record store has been replaced by some kind of smoothie / juice bar.
