Staple! 2005 DVD info
Many of you know that we videotaped interviews at Staple! 2005.
Short audio clips from those interviews are now available on this site at
http://www.staple-austin.org/audio/
Yes, the clips are kinda short, but at least you get to see and hear these fine folks who produce the books you like to read. Or maybe should read.
A DVD with video from the interviews and the two panel discussions should be available for your viewing/buying pleasure in June 2005. As of this posting, the video is in the process of being edited.
Read the News section of this site for progress reports about the DVD.

viewing of first cut of Staple! 2005 DVD
The Staple! DVD was screened last night, and I have lots of yummy feedback to work with. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the showing.
This first cut didn’t include art from the special guests or the photos from the pre-party, the setup, and the after party, but the interview and panel discussion video was there.

Final cut of DVD done
The final cut of the DVD is done, and we’re gonna wrap work on the DVD package art tonight.
Within the next two days I expect to pass the master DVD to the manufacturer’s rep. Once that’s taken place and I have a tentative completion date I’ll post an update on the Staple! main page.

DVD released on 1 July 2005
The STAPLE! 2005 DVD is finished.
Austin Books will be hosting a DVD release party on Friday, 1 July 2005 from 8 – 11 p.m. Come to the party and you can mingle with artists and fans and have some food. During the party Austin Books will be selling trade paperbacks, graphic novels, and hardcovers at a 25% discount.
