contracts
Does anybody have a good standard contract for one or more of the following:
1. contract between a publisher and a comic creator (artist + writer) 2. contract between a publisher and a writer 3. contract between a publisher and an artist (penciller / inker / colorist) 4. contract between a writer and an artist for a collaboration on a comic series or one-off book
I’ve found standard contracts for the movie industry, but nothing particularly good for the comics industry. Yes, it’s true that “every contract is different,” but for indie comics I’ve got to believe some boilerplate language and standard terms would apply.
