OK Comics

It’s been a few years since I was last in Austin, Texas and was thinking of making the pilgrimage in sync with Staple.
I currently own and run a comic book store in England, OK Comics, and I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting mini’s n zine’s.
I intend to spend a couple of weeks in Texas, slowly driving from Dallas through Waco, stopping off in Austin and flying back from San Antonio.
If anybody has any advice on where to stay, what to eat or where the high school girls hang out after class, let me know.

Austin Zine Library

Jared:
We look forward to seeing you at the Staple! show.
My personal recommendation would be to spend a little time in Dallas, do a quick blitz through Waco, and then spend a leisurely week in Austin.
You may want to check out the Austin Zine Library:
www.austinzinelibrary.org/
The AZL web site may be down, in which case you can get some idea of what they have to offer at these pages:

If you check out the Zine library, have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or some other meal at the nearby Juan in a Million Mexican Restaurant. You will almost certainly see Juan there.
