We all know about the pre-party at Austin Books on Friday, and we’re all pleasantly aware of the after party/live art show Saturday night, but what else is there to do during STAPLE! weekend?
is one of the best bars/music venues in Austin. It’s a smoke-filled dive in a town where you’re not allowed to smoke anymore. Not sure who’s playing Friday night, but Saturday’s show (which will probably start around midnight) features STAPLE! favorites [url=http://www.flametricksubs.com]The Flametrick Subs[/url] and [url=http://www.satanscheerleaders.com]Satan’s Cheerleaders[/url]. There’s bee a contingent at this show for two years running. Will we make it a third?
Friday night, local pop-punk band [url=http://www.cruiserweight.com]Cruiserweight[/url] hosts a CD release party at [url=http://www,emosaustin.com]Emo’s[/url]. Great band, fun time.
And food! Did the folks at Dan’s Hamburgers learn their lesson last year? Will they let a dozen or more drunk comics creators and fans enter five minutes before closing this year?
Oh, what will this year’s STAPLE! weekend bring?
