Exhibitor instructions
Exhibitors!!!
First of all hello and thank you to all STAPLE! 2006 Exhibitors!!! I’m really looking forward to this show and can’t wait to see you all there.
Herein you will find your simple instructions for signing in and exhibiting at STAPLE! as well as info about pre and post show activities.
SIGN IN for the show begins at 9 a.m. on the day of, at the venue. You will receive your table assignment and a badge with your name and company name on it at that time. Extra exhibitor badges are available for $5.00. The show opens to the public at 10 a.m.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you are sharing your table with someone who did not register, that person MUST purchase an Exhibitor badge at the low, low cost of $5.00 to get into the show. I don’t know who all these people are so YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM. These extra badges will be available during sign-in.
ELECTRICITY: As noted on your registration forms, I cannot guarantee access to electricity so please make sure you have enough portable power for any electronics you may bring.
Giveaways! As we did last year we will hold several giveaways for the crowd throughout the day. We’ll have a receptacle for anything you would like to donate to be given away, so if you’re interested in participating, please bring an extra copy of your work or whatever prize you’d like to have given away.
The STAPLE! Pre-Party Meet and Greet will be held at Austin Books and Comics at 5002 N. Lamar Blvd. www.austinbooks.com The party starts at 8pm on the Friday night before the show, with free food, beer (ID’s please) and socializing. Parking is somewhat limited so carpool if you can. Last year I think a couple folks tried to spend the night there, so this time Brad’s kicking everyone out at 11:00.
Be sure to come to the STAPLE! After-Party and Badass Funk Attack LIVE ART show with Jim Mahfood and Dave Crosland. The party starts upstairs at the Ritz, 320 E. 6th Street, downtown Austin, at 9pm. Don’t miss it!
OK, I think that’s it. Once again, thanks to everyone who’s exhibiting at the show. STAPLE! could not exist without your support and enthusiasm, and really, the whole thing is about you, anyway. If you haven’t already, be sure to tell everyone you know to come to the show. Here’s hoping we all have a great time and great sales once again.
